We believe that the evaluation process should be clear, transparent, and well understood. Below are answers to some of the questions we are most frequently asked about our clinical and forensic evaluation services.

Do you accept insurance?

All neuropsychological and psychological evaluation services are provided on a private-pay basis. Fees vary depending on the type and complexity of the evaluation. Please contact our office to discuss your specific needs and obtain information regarding fees and scheduling.

What types of evaluations do you provide?

  • Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluations
    Comprehensive assessments designed to address complex learning, developmental, psychological, neurological, and medical concerns

  • Focused Psychological and ADHD Evaluations
    Targeted assessments designed to answer specific diagnostic questions, such as the evaluation of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and related concerns.

  • Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) and Forensic Assessments
    Objective evaluations conducted for medical, insurance, and civil legal matters, including disability, workers' compensation, parental capacity, and other forensic referral questions.

  • Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
    Comprehensive educational and neuropsychological evaluations tailored to the individual needs of students and school districts.

How do you handle confidentiality?

  • All clinical services are provided in accordance with applicable professional, ethical, and legal standards governing confidentiality and privacy.

  • For clinical evaluations, reports and records are shared only with the client's written authorization or as otherwise required by law.

  • For forensic evaluations, the limits of confidentiality and the intended recipients of the evaluation will be discussed at the outset of the evaluation process. In most forensic matters, reports are provided to the referring attorney, court, agency, or other authorized referral source.

What are your fees?

Clinical Neuropsychological Evaluations

Fees for comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations vary depending on the nature and complexity of the referral question. Typical fees range from $2,800 to $4,000, with additional costs for specialized testing when indicated. Please contact our office to discuss your specific evaluation needs.

Forensic Evaluations

Fees for forensic neuropsychological evaluations, including disability assessments, parental capacity evaluations, and other civil legal matters, vary according to the complexity of the case, record review requirements, and consultation needs. Fee schedules are available upon request.

Independent Educational Evaluations

Fees for independent educational and neuropsychological evaluations vary depending on the student's age, referral questions, and scope of the evaluation.

What is your scheduling & cancellation policy?

  • Appointments may be scheduled by phone or email.

  • We ask that clients provide at least 48 hours' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Missed appointments or cancellations without adequate notice may incur a cancellation fee.

What can I expect from the evaluation process and report?

Our evaluations are comprehensive, clinically grounded, and tailored to the specific referral question. The evaluation process typically includes:

  • A detailed clinical, developmental, educational, and/or medical history interview

  • Review of relevant records and collateral information

  • Administration of standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests

  • Integration of clinical, historical, and test data

  • A feedback session to review findings and recommendations

The final report is designed to be comprehensive, understandable, and clinically useful. Reports typically include:

  • The reason for referral and relevant background information

  • Test results and clinical observations

  • Diagnostic impressions, when appropriate

  • An analysis of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and functional strengths and challenges

  • Individualized recommendations for treatment, educational planning, accommodations, rehabilitation, or legal decision-making, depending on the referral question
